Adirondack Collection 6' Square Red/Black ADR117F Modern Abstract Non-Shedding Living Room Bedroom Dining Home Office Area Rug

SAFAVIEH Adirondack ADR117F is a power-loomed polypropylene modern striped square rug in red and black, made in Turkey. Shown here in the 6 ft square size, it measures 6 ft x 6 ft (72 x 72 in / 183 x 183 cm) and has a 3/8 in pile. Rhythmic horizontal striations create an understated textured effect that grounds contemporary and transitional spaces. This colorway sets the pattern in black on a red ground. Construction: power-loomed in Turkey from polypropylene on a jute foundation, 3/8 in pile height. Power-Loomed means woven on a computer-guided loom, so the pattern and pile density match across every size. Polypropylene beads up water-based spills, holds color in sun and vacuums clean; expect little to no shedding. Size and placement: a 6 ft square sits under a 36-42 in square table or centers a seating group. Use SAFAVIEH rug pad PAD121-6SQ underneath to stop creep, protect the floor and add cushion. Will it fit under my door? Measure the gap first - the pile is 3/8 in and a pad adds about 1/4 in. Does it shed? Expect little to no shedding. Why does it look darker from one side? The fibers lean in one direction, so the rug has a light side and a dark side - two ways to love the same piece. Walk around it before placing it, then face the side you prefer toward the main entry. Rooms: bedroom, living room, home office, entryway. Whether you are searching for a 6 ft square rug, a polypropylene rug, a modern striped rug or a red area rug, this design answers all of them in one piece. SAFAVIEH began in 1914 as curators of antique rugs, opened its first Madison Avenue showroom in 1978, and today designs and makes rugs, furniture, lighting and decor across three continents from its New York home.
